Premier is excited to announce a new partnership with Flood Risk Canada and Flood Risk America. Both are proactive flood risk management companies specializing in the thorough evaluation and reporting of flood risks throughout the United States and Canada.
Flood Risk Canada (FRC) and Flood Risk America (FRA) are experienced flood-mapping professionals, built from a team of local and national experts in the field of flood services, whose focus is on exposure, uninsured losses and liability. They provide 24/7 assistance in flood forecasting, flood risk assessments, flood plain modeling and flood defense. All services are refined to represent current local sites and conditions.
Moving forward, Premier will be developing projects with FRC and FRA in Canada and US respectively, and this will build upon each company’s past accomplishments.
The focus of these future projects will initially involve mapping of flood risk for different land uses and industries in Canada and the US. These maps will be prepared using publicly available information on surface waters and elevations. This information will then be integrated using Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) software to generate state-of-the-art flood-risk maps. Once a FEMA flood map is prepared, Premier in conjunction with FRC will identify environmental strategies to mitigate or eliminate the flood risk in Canada and with FRA in the US. Currently, Premier, FRC and FRA are developing projects for clients in the insurance and rail sectors, as well as for golf courses and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
